Belonging and inclusion is increased when all team members play their part. Everyone can play a part by noticing unfairness, connecting through empathy with those who are different, being curious about others’ experiences and seeking to learn from and support colleagues.

These are behaviours that work well for any team and are fundamental to the good working of teams that want to make the most of individual differences.
